What are GCMS notes?
GCMS stands for Global Case Management System, the system Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) uses to process visa and immigration applications. As officers review a file, they record their notes, checks and decisions in GCMS. A copy of these records is released through a request under Canada's Access to Information Act and Privacy Act.
